- Its jaws was once horns that were magically transformed.
- It pretends it's cute and friendly, but it just wants to attack.
- Its jaws are said to chew through iron beams.
- Mawile's name is a mix between "maw" as in jaw and "wiley" which means sneaky.
- クチート Kucheat is a mix of mouth with the word cheat.
- Mysdibule is dishonest mandible.
- Flunkifer which means fib jaw.
- Has many similarities with Makuhita and Hariyama.

It was doing great untill he found he was running out of rice. He spied on his Rice supply and found a mouth on the back of his wife's head, and her long hair shoveling rice into her head.
